R.I.P. Egon...

I've always watched the Ghostbusters with my kids and Harold Ramis was a very big part of that scene.  He'll be missed.  As a matter of fact, my husband's nickname is Egon. I felt since this is a book review blog, the library scene was an appropriate choice.

I've never watched it--but I'm sure he's now busy "haunting" homes for other Ghostbusters.

Anytime an actor or actress dies, I mention them to my husband. He's a huge movie buff and knows so many more names than me. Immediately, he told me that Ramis was a star in Ghostbusters. My husband and I have watched all those movies. Sad loss.

He was a fabulous guy. So creative. It's sad how this happened to him...

I had no idea who Harold Ramis was until now. I saw his name trending on Twitter but did not investigate. I didn't even know there was more than one Ghostbuster movie. Thank you, dear Irene.

Happy Birthday
