For Today... bunny growth chart

Outside my window... It's lovely and sunny, cool.

I am thinking...it's a good day to pull a few weeds and maybe wash a window or two.

I am thankful...for the time

In the kitchen...need to go shopping or else it will be potato dumplings for supper. and maybe sweet potato soup.

I am wearing...t shirt and shorts

I am creating...not a lot of creating, other than trying to create order in my yard.

I am going... to a food store, need food.
I am wondering...How my house gets to this state, when I'm always doing something.

I am reading...The Wisdom of Hair

I am hoping...to finish it soon, it's quite good.

I am looking forward to...no schedule for a few weeks.

I am learning... that we all have different ideas of how to repair veneer.
not what I was expecting.

Around the house...my husband is working nights so it's quiet, my son is on his day off and so he's "writing" I hope.

I am pondering...how to get that big cabinet from my sister's house home.

A favorite quote for today...

A man who has been the indisputable favorite of his mother keeps for life the feeling of a conqueror.

One of my favorite things...I have two favorite things, Daniel and Sasha, and they shall be conquerors.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Well laundry, gardening,

A peek into my day...I've already done a couple of loads of wash, and it's only 9 a.m. then I plan on cleaning out some drawers to put these clean cloths away in.  Replace dirty sheets with the clean ones,  and dust under the beds, before doing all of this.  And then it will be dinner time.

The Bunny growth chart, as you can see the lower leaves are digested.  I watch the other day as he reached up, standing on his hinds and ate all the lower leaves of these lovely lilies.  The white powder is my trap to see who is doing this, but then I caught him in the act.  He's all of 5 inches tall on his hinds.

It is raining and dreary here. We haven't had much sunshine in quite a while. I hope you can get a picture of your baby bunny.

Thats cute a 'bunny growth chart'....I should have a Chipmunk growth chart in my garden....hope he doesn't munch on anymore of your plants.
Have a good day....

Well dear Irene, I don't know what Freud had to say about the woman who never had any chance of being her mother's favorite, because that was certainly me. My sister claimed that lofty title a long time ago and neither she nor my mother have the power to change it, I don't think. Perhaps that's why I've never felt like a conqueror of anything, at any time. I can't even conquer dust on the shelves, for crying out loud. But I'll figure out a way to do my own special thing anyway. C'est la vie!

Oh, I am laughing hysterically at the Bunny Growth Chart! Last year a bunny did that to my Liatris plants, and when he couldn't reach any more leaves, he chewed the stem and chopped down the plants!

What the hell?!?
Who does that bunny think he is?
Just because he's out in nature and so is a plant?!

Pretty cute...
