Yes indeed, it's that time of year again, EXAM time. So that means my computer time is limited. That means my guy is on it ALL the time. Well being as it is poetry month, my young man is frantically writing and submitting works. Cross your fingers and your toes, something gets accepted. He unfortunately didn't win the presidents award for his creation but he's not dissuaded. My problem of coarse is that I'm worried about what he's going to eat when he's a professional poet. That's what made me think of Tennyson, and the above line. I can't even do any research on it as he's standing over my shoulder waiting for the lap top.(my young man, not Tennyson that would be creepy) Now that I've thought of creepy I feel a song coming on ...cheepers creepers where'd you get those peepers...
But what I really wanted to say is it's that time of year again when the local Creativity Festival is on. I helped with set up yesterday and I'm just amazed at the efforts by all these merchants and teachers. What a lot of work! My connection is now in her 83rd year and I wish I had a slice of that energy. She is a very good boss though and no one messes with her. It only took us a couple of hours to get it on the perfect side and today and tomorrow it will be an all day event. Unfortunately I can't attend. Which is probably more than o.k. since I haven't used the fat quarters I purchased last time. I do however need some decent dressmakers pins, and I'd love a mini iron. Oh well there's always the fall show., oops I'll be too busy working in the fall so no show then either, I'll make a list and send someone.
Haven't read much this week, still reading Illumination, it's really good, but just have had not enough time, and the weekend doesn't look promising either.Well off to my mother's place.

Wow, Irene, credo che tu sia messa proprio bene con il lavoro !!!
Comunque... oggi siamo già a venerdì e domani che è sabato, mi aspetta un'altra giornata di duro lavoro !!! Sigh !
Buona serata :))
Myriam
you all lead interesting lives..writing poetry, crafts.
Not to mention all the interesting books you read and mention here.
I really need to document my reading on my blogs more. I wonder when I will do it?
I'm sending positive thoughts his way!
Poet sounds as profitable as my sons plans to be a paleontologist/artist! Best of luck to him.
I was never one for poetry but I wish your young man all the luck in the world.
You have lots of interesting things going on right now Irene, enjoy them all.
