For Today...

Outside my window...
a picture is worth a thousand words.

I am thinking...I need to go out there and prune my roses
I am thankful for...too much rain that puts that chore off one more day
From the learning rooms...I'm learning that most of my men are not historians (family history)
From the kitchen...we're having a pizza party at my mother's nursing home.

I am wearing...my pajamas, I always create better in my pajamas
I am creating...my husbands family tree, it's murder getting information in a language I'm not familiar with, thank God for google translate.

I am going...to my mother's for a visit with my youngest son.
I am reading...just finishing off Lamb, Christopher Moore.
I am hoping...to find the perfect gift
I am hearing...the little birds next door have fresh worms, I suppose, they are so loud they've woken me up.
Around the house... I'm in the process of sorting through Christmas Ornaments.
One of my favorite things...sorting through Christmas ornaments
A few plans for the rest of the week:finish sorting through Christmas Ornaments, get out to the garden if it stops raining.

I'd love a good long drippy rainy day, Irene! I love those. It's so hot here ... well, you know. We do have "pop-up" storms in the evening but they're very unpredictable. Sorting through Christmas ornaments sounds like great fun!

I've not seen "Lamb" anywhere that I can remember. I think I'd love to read it!!

Beautiful photo btw!

rainy days are so good for doing things around the house. I like creating in my pjs too. Got five layouts done Sunday and never got out of my jammies.
RYC: about the garlic. I had no idea! Glad I buy local wherever I can.

Hi Irene. Good to catch up here. Sounds like you are enjoying the rain. Has been raining on and off here in Melbourne also, where Ihave been visiting family. Yes, Mummy, my daughter in law, is OK. She goes back to the doctor tomorrow to see how the ear operation went...and to see if she is allowed to drive again! I will head home to (sunnier) Queensland soon.
