I spent a lovely week doing some
plein air painting.
I haven't done that since I was very, very young. I couldn't remember why? and then eurika. Your paint dries too quickly, you subject matter moves, the sun changes, and so your light is altered... as much fun as it is, it's not efficient painting. but, what the heck, I was on a short vacation. Collingwood, Ontario is quite lovely.

I think I might need to paint this one, she hissed at the Canada goose, but allowed the little ducklings to nibble on the crumbs |

It certainly looks a beautiful place. I hope to see your paintings - maybe the little ducklings, so cute!
Wonderful!!!!!!
I'm in awe of anyone, Dear Irene, who would attempt anything at all with a canvas and brush and paints. And right out in the fresh air, under the sky, in the elements! Truly brave. I'm glad you tried it. The chickies are so cute. xoxo
