I've had a not so good reading month, not sure why, but I've only just finished an Inspector Banks Mystery by Peter Robinson. Interesting and somewhat confusing, I almost wanted to take a highlighter out and sort things out. Eventually I got it! I've not read much of Inspector Banks, I like him, but I don't know him.
A piece of my Heart, was a scary trip back to the time of the Manson Murders. It was a very scary time, all that LOUD music, drugs and free love. I'm so glad I wasn't part of that. Never been to a rock concert, even though I did wear bell bottoms.

Some months are like that.
Here's to hoping April is better for you. Happy April reading!
Haaahaha dear Irene, does going to an Osmond Brothers concert in the early '70s count as a rock concert? If so, I've been to one. I dimly remember screaming a lot. I was fourteen. That sounds like a good book. I love mysteries. Happy Easter to you! xoxo
I've read a few of the Inspector Banks books - but not this one. I like him too and the TV series. I did wear bell bottoms never went to a rock festival either -although, I did go to a 10cc show in a theatre and was deafened!!!
I loved bell bottoms!! Still do and would wear them everyday if people wouldn't think I was nuts.
I'm not completely out of my reading slump yet either.
What an interesting book Irene! Thank you for your comments on my Ephemera blog today. lol I had to giggle over your comment about brothers and sisters. Yes, I remember some, er, slug outs myself. All a part of being part of a big family. ((hugs)) Blessings to you, sweet Friend. <3
