Are we done yet?

S. Vincent
Are we done yet? This is our youngest son, S. Vincent he just completed his Masters degree, I had to read about it on Face book, even though he's sitting next to me.
S. Vincent has a passion for comics and comics studies. Under the supervision of Dr. Irene Gammel, in Ryerson’s Literatures of Modernity program (2013-2014), he completed a Major Research Paper entitled "‘I Yam What I Yam!’: The Modernist Performance of Popeye The Sailor.” Focussing on the work of American cartoonist Elzie Crisler Segar (1894-1938), who created the iconic cartoon character Popeye the Sailor in 1929 in the comic strip Thimble Theatre, Sasha examined the comic strip’s modernist and absurdist sensibilities in images and punch lines. Sasha is engaged in communicating his insights on Social Media.

I think he's afraid I might go visit his teacher/professors, you know like Marie did when Robert was applying for the FBI.
So it's celebration time again.

I had to do some unplanned photo sorting, yes, I'm a scrapbooker, and I usually find a surprise, and today was no exception,  I found $75,belonging to S. Vincent and a coupon for a home cooked dinner, no clean up or ingredient shopping included from DANiel.   Clearly S.  should have taken some money management program and DANiel should have taken a commitment control program.  How shall I collect? I just told s. that it's not too late for me to visit the school.

For more information or if you would like to hire "Popeye".

And as for the dinner, well... it might be a long time waiting, or it could be like the time my mom invited me for my birthday and when I got there,  I had to cook it myself. (Interesting NO?) I think she meant, let's have dinner together, and you're a better cook than I am.

First of all, congratulations to your fine boy, dear Irene. I found out in a group text that my son was engaged. Of course, he called me first (crying) when they broke up. They always come a-running when they need us. And if I could cook you a birthday dinner, I would! I yam what I yam. xoxo

Congratulations on your son's graduation. I'm really not sure how he can market his particular knowledge and skill set. I really wish him luck!
