Sunday Salon...

You have to look really closely to see this little guy, we have a family someplace in the yard.  The cat is having a nervous breakdown.  I had trimmed away a climbing rose that has had no blooms for a couple of years and then we had a downpour so it didn't get to clean it up, well it was a tasty treat for our little friends.  I have mostly perennials in my yard so not too much of a salad bar for these guys.

Sunday finds me assisting my friend if preparations for h er son's wedding this up coming Saturday.  She's so brave.  She's invited many to a breakfast before the wedding at her home, which is not big.  So we are praying for good weather, she's also hosting the rehearsal dinner.  We're putting up a tent today and trying to fix it up to look weddingish.  It doesn't get dark for some time so we are thinking some smallish lights and candles.  We had this adventure four years ago when her daughter got married, but it is not the same frilly look for a male.  I've seen some great ideas on Pinterest, but no chandeliers are around in the stock room.  Wish I had taken the one from my mom's house, I'm sure it went into the garbage bin, however... We'll think of something.

It's hot here today and sticky, so we may be running through the sprinkler.  Have a good week.  I'll take pictures.

Not much reading happened this week.  I'm still reading my win  The Wisdom of Hair, Kim Boykin.

P.S.  Dear Jenners your tumblr account drives me nuts.  I cannot get in, even though I have registered repeatedly.  Enjoy the Throne books, and all that mud.

Ah, I see Marty came over for a nibble in your garden! Send the little guy back home to me when he's had his fill, LOL. Good luck with the wedding tasks!

What a busy sunday you have Irene, wedding preparations always have a special smell. How did you manage with the light, I hope you find some chandeliers they always gives a much elegant atmosphere at least for me. I love candles in general but those are specials.
Is this really possible for a cat to have a nervous breakdown ? Poor kitty, I miss mine someday, but that life, we can't have them forever, right ?

Wish you a lovely week...

All I can say dear Irene, is that your friend is ambitious and she has a good buddy in you. I hope the weather turns out mild so that all the guests don't have to run through the sprinkler too, just to cool off. It's stifling here.

Cute lil' guy in the garden....we have a lot of raccoons and skunks down my way here in Etobicoke.

...it is hot and humid isn't it, can't stay too long outside.

Your friend is brave. With my luck the weather would be bad. I hope her luck is better!
