Saturday Snapshot... the sky is blue

*The sky is blue the grass is green and there's a whole lot of "Sun"shine sandwiched in between.

I'm coming down with some bug or something so yesterday I spent my time between the washer/dryer and the couch.  I watch t.v. between dozing off and one of the commercials strongly suggested talking to your kids about joining the army.  I'm trying to talking him out of it... but you know boys will be boys and he joined anyway.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce from at home with books.

*when my boys were little and they still wanted to say grace before meals this was a favorite, had nothing to do with food but...
I seem to be posting a great many more pictures of "Sun"shine #1 over that of #2, well I really miss him, and #2 is sitting next to me most of the time and underfoot, hasn't given me much chance to miss him.

Our kids grow up and think they can run their own lives no matter what our opinions are. My son joined the Marines, so I know how you feel. On one hand I was proud of him, on the other worried. But, everything turned out ok. Will keep your son in my prayers.

As Vicki says, our children grow up and make their own decisions, but you must worry about your son. May he stay safe. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/7FE3e

Good to hear you are getting a reprieve from the bad weather, and might be able to make it to the end of the driveway without falling!
Sorry to hear you are not well Irene. Do hope you get better very quickly. Take Care!
You must indeed worry about your son, but be proud as well no doubt!

That looks like a photo for memories. I hope you are able to shake the bug. Thank you to your son for his service and may God keep him safe.

I have a 19 who has talked about it but I don't think he will. It would be hard, very hard, if he did but I'd also be proud of him for doing what he felt he had to do. Yep. Boys will be boys and men will be men. Congrats; sounds like you have a good one.
