For Today...

FOR TODAY

Outside my window... it's not too sunny, but it's quite cool, I mean I need mittens.

I am thinking...I hope Dr. Tom fixes up my hip, I sure could use a full nights sleep

I am thankful...absolutely everything, but especially for sisters and nieces who know their way around a kitchen.

In the kitchen...egg salad sandwiches

I am wearing...yoga pants, and t shirt

I am creating...order in the cold room, before it's too cold.

I am going...to my chiropractor, love that man.

I am wondering...why I can't request a stop closer to Dr. Tom, than 3 km, and I won't have to walk that distance.

I am reading...The Hanging Shed, my first Kobo read

I am hoping...I'm not too tired after my session with Dr. Tom to visit my mom.

I am looking forward to...Thursday, my son graduates from University

I am learning... to paint something glittery

Around the house...a mess

I am pondering...not much, I'm just overwhelmed with stuff...

A favorite quote for today...slow and steady wins the race (that's me after my session with Dr. Tom making my way back to the Go station)

One of my favorite things...my stuffing, it was delicious, I think I might make another turkey this weekend.

A few plans for the rest of the week:Friday is the beginning of the Creative Festival, my cork chair will be in it, so I'm looking forward to enjoying all the oohs and ahhs.  It really is a unique piece.

A peek into my day...7:40a.m. catch bus, transfer to train at 8:35 a.m, WAIT transfer to bus at 9:25 a.m., arrive at destination at 10:20 a.m. WALk 3km. arrive at Dr. Tom's at 11: 03a.m., get WONDERFUL healing hands, leave Dr. Tom at 12noon, hustle my buns back to Go station, well you get the picture, home for 9P.m.

Dear Irene, I love these. First of all, cool weather is wonderful. I don't envy you the bone-numbing cold that's in your near future, however. I also have terrible hip pain and often it interrupts my sleep. I have to get up, take 2 Tylenol Arthritis, and sit up until it kicks in. Then back to bed, a pillow between my knees, and hope for the best or sheer exhaustion, whichever happens first. I have no Dr. Tom, you are lucky. I adore adore adore egg salad sammiches!!!!! Can't handle chiros but TG loves his. I hope you got to visit your mom, and I will be thinking of you as you burst with pride at your son's graduation from university today. You're the best, I love ya!

wow..that is quite a day..what a long walk you have Irene. I have been ding a lot of walking lately, as I cannot drive for three months, having had to change some medication. So it has been interesting and fun using public transport. I find the trains very relaxing! I am also hoping I might lose some weight!
Happy Thanksgiving, you are early at it in Canada!
Thanks for popping in to my rainy day blog post.
I am looking forward to doing some reading of some library books, but have a long list of tasks to complete and appointments to keep.
