Postcard Friendship Friday...Rudy Rudy Rydz

Happy Friendship Friday everyone.  This meme is hosted by Beth at the Best Hearts Are Crunchy.  The postcard above is actually a 45 record playing song.  It was quite the rage a few years back, I suspect my aunt sent it to my mom, in an envelope, since there is no sentiment or stamp.
Here's the song,  why this song, as I mention earlier in the week, Sunday Salon, my baby celebrated a birthday this week, he's a red head, Rudy in Polish and this is my song for him.  Happy Birthday Baby.

I adore the song! lol And I LOVE that postcard. Last spring I came upon this kind of mushroom growing in a neighbor's yard. They are as big as bowls.

Thank you for sharing the delightful postcard and music! Happy PFF!

Irene....Happy Birthday to your baby. What a cute song. love the post card and thanks for sharing the song! My neighbour is Polish and he use to bring me mushrooms all the time he picked with his wife. Being of Ukrainian background we always had something with mushrooms, especially mushroom gravy slathered over everything. :-)

Have a great Friday!

I've never heard of a record postcard - but I LOVE the idea! I especially love the artwork on this beautiful "playing card"! I wish I could hear the song, but I have no speakers on my computer ... and "someone" walked off with my headphones. Sigh.

Happy birthday to the baby! :)

First word I said when the page loaded and I saw the postcard photo was, 'Wow!' -- I miss eating big mushrooms (I usually eat the button-type here in the city).

May you and your family have a great weekend!

Good to catch up, Irene. Lovely postcard.

I have indeed enjoyed catching up with my sister..even better to have come to the tropics away from the miserable weather at home, wet and cold. Unfortunately she has had an op,so not quite OK, but definitely on the mend, and much better than last week!

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
