All Shall Be Well... ABC of crime fiction

I've just finished reading All Shall Be Well, by Deborah Crombie. (recommended by Purple Sage and Scorpions  well Deborah Crombie was.) This was the only Deborah Crombie on the shelf so I started here, not sorry I did.  A good read, I'm so glad to see that money isn't the strongest motivator of murder.  I know that sounds a little weird, but I'm a mom, and I can't imagine... Read it you'll know of what I speak.  I'm lagging so behind in my ABC of mysteries meme, I think all the books on my shelf (which I'm trying to read from) begin with the wrong letter, que sera sera..  I think Ms. Mysteries in Paradise will report me for not playing according to the rules.  Sorry.

I look forward to my next Gemma and Duncan adventure.

I'll leave you with one of my favourite mysteries.  You know that while Doris is singing away I'm checking out the quality of the upholstery in the room. I like the back of those chairs.  The whole time I'm writing this post my kitchen window is open and those birds don't even stop to catch their breath, I don't think I've ever heard them as much as this year. What is happening? Mother Nature?

The books sounds interesting! I always loved hearing Doris Day sing that song, the words mimic my way of thinking. I think it's funny that you check out the upholstery etc. while watching the video, and probably do while watching tv too. I am always focused on the people, but there are some in my family that are checking out everything...the furniture, the stuff hanging on the walls, the clothes they're wearing etc.

I've never tried Crombie's work but I've heard a lot about her latest. This one sounds good too.
