Sunday Salon, on Monday...

Sunday Salon is a post I read on Alyce's blog it's sort of a wrap up of the week.  I'm finally getting back to a normal routine this week.  That being said still the odd leftover issue with employee pays but... that will have to be not my problem.  I've finally gotten back to my routine with my mom, my painting and other stuff, and wouldn't you know it, it's almost time for Christmas shopping.  |I went back to my furniture refinishing group on Thursday only to discover that everyone has really been hard at work and I sort of lagging behind.  I will rebuild that bench before Christmas, really.  It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would but that's the name of the game.  Since my routine is returning, my reading on the buses has gotten back on track as well.  I finally finished Child of the Northern Spring and 84 Charing Cross.  I'm thinking I may need to read Chaucer, that's like taking on James Joyces' work Ulises (I'm sure that is spelled incorrectly.  I've also gotten a new laptop, well it's really smaller than my lap but... I'm adjusting to the smallness of the keyboard. What a pain! Around the house, oh what a mess! I've completed six Christmas Card (hand painted) post those another time, or at least I should say I've finished painting them, still the matter of designing a card around the painted piece.  I'm not sure who will get these, they were a lot of work. I have this stupid idea that I want people to keep my painted things, and how many of us keep Christmas cards, hand made or not. We celebrated my sister and Brother in laws 40th wedding anniversary this weekend, and we baptized my niece and nephews new baby.  Didn't get to the cemetery yet,too much rain, and I don't like going on a weekend when visitors are there, you know I appear to be a small wrecking crew.  . I should have posted this yesterday, but my son was working on some school thing and I needed to make myself scarce, so I went to Chapters with my coupon.  I could kill a few hours in there.  What does the week hold, well I'm going to try to make up a few sessions of furniture refinishing, visiting my mom and there the library is in quite a state so I'll be spending a few more hours on that, and then it will be the weekend.  Too much for an old lady like me, I had a birthday this past month and it's definitely down hill from here.

Glad things are getting back to a normal routine for you! I did a bit of Christmas shopping over the weekend too.

Glad you're getting back to normal … but your normal seems extraordinarily busy.

I loved 84 Charing Cross Road.

My daughter has a smaller laptop and being an old fashioned touch typist from back in the manual typewriter days, I find the keyboard too small. :)

Have a good week
