I'm always reading blogs and getting inspiration from all the wonderful ideas others have and this little piece is no exception. My friend Nancy (who often surprises me with little packets of vintage postcards, Thanks Nancy), is a wonderful encaustic artist, you can see some of her wonderful work here. I thought I'd see what it was all about. Well then I forgot about it. The other night as I was coming out of the office, which is located in a rather green part of an light industry area, the sun was down the moon was out and this piece came to mind, thought I'd share it with you. It was to have been the beginnings of a card, but there is so much wax on it, it would have to be a card you give in person, rather than mail. Snapshot Saturday is hosted by Alyce from At home with books.

Oh my goodness, that is lovely.
That is quite original. I hopped over to Nancy's blog and her artwork and photography are beautiful.
That is very different. And how lovely to have a friend who surprises you every so often! I should try to be that kind of friend.
