Wee bit o Wednesday... on Saturday

can't remember where this meme is, but thank you for the clip art.

I'm a faithful blog reader, even if I don't get a chance to do it everyday.  I  enjoy knowing what everyone is up to.  So this morning Saturday, I got up early, (I have a nest of baby birds outside my window, and they sure do get up early and make a lot of noise)  so I thought I'd hop around.  I read Marissa's blog, (love watching her little guy grow) Marissa is probably the first paper artist I ever met, love doing her star book and she certainly turned me on to many other ideas. Anyway, MDW did this little meme on Wednesday, hosted by  Alyssa . It's called Wee bit o' Wednesday, but since I'm Irene come lately... I'll say a Wee bit about me... My sister will say it's an extremely negative view... que sera sera...

{one} what’s the #1 most played song on your iPod (or whatever you use)?

I don't listen to music much, but if I had to choose I'd probably have quite a mixture, I actually like Hoobastank

{two} what’s your favorite type of exercise?
I really hate exercise... but if I have to, I'd walk, a fair amount, probably 5-6 kilometers a day, haven't lost an ounce, just eat everything in sight when I get home and then I bake a cake.

{three} what’s your least favorite mode of transportation?
I generally travel by public transit, so hate it or love it, I have no choices here, I would have to say I dislike travelling with nervous drivers.

{four} if you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be?
35 - That's when I had my second child and I had a lot more energy than I do now, that's what I miss the energy.

{five} when you have 30 minutes of free time, what do you use it to do?
Reading...or blogging....

{six} what do you miss the most about being a kid?
I miss being naive, (more than I am now)

(Thanks Alyce)

{seven} when was the last time you were nervous?
nervous Nelly, that's me... always something to be nervous about, but specifically, well I would have to say the last election, I'm that person who inputs the #s that you see scrolling on the bottom of the TV screen, (terrified of a judicial recount) no reason, I do a darn good job.

{eight} what was the first thing you bought with your own money when you were young?
I don't really remember anything in particular, but I do remember and still own my first antique, it was a Nippon tea cup, it was .10 no saucer bought that a year ago (48years later) and I also bought an "OLD" wicker chair, my sister Barb helped me carry it home for $3. we could never do that now, she'd need a new shoulder and I'd need a new hip

{nine} what is your favorite month of the year?
June, love the onset of summer vacation, even if my boys are big and don't have it off anymore.

{ten} what are 3 songs from the soundtrack of your life?

This is going to be weird, from my childhood I'd have to say que sera sera...

from my teen years

for those inbetween years

for my almost golden years.

GREAT questions, Alyssa! Thank you so much!

I apologize to the blogger who does the "a bit about me(me) I can't seem to remember where you are, if anyone does please let me know) and now it's  Saturday, laundry and other stuff happening here, the big question is ..Will there be 30min free to read...?

Thanks for your visit to my art gallery photos.
Interesting to catch up here and learn a little more about you.
How DO you get those squiggly things across the bottom of the screen? Gosh, on election night, I'd be nervous too!

I wasn't going to say anything, but since you asked, it's spelled "naive." The biggest thing I miss from being younger is energy too. I'm not that old (mid thirties) but I long for the days before my thyroid kicked the bucket. :)

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
