Once again my friend and I treked out to Niagara Falls on our walk to the green house we spotted this wonderful field of daffys. The entrance to the greenhouse was loaded with all these colourful pots, and below you can see the variety that I can never seem to remember, I think it's a crown hyndrangea.

Those are hydrangeas and they are pretty common in the South. The acidity of the soil causes the flower's color.
Beautiful!!!
Lovely flowers! It's so hard for me not to go around taking photos of all of the flowers right now. I'm so glad warm weather is here!
Good, very good.
Hi!
Beautiful snapshots! Love Daffodils. Have a great day!

Amazing photos! It makes me feel like spring isn't ready to give up to summer just yet.
It's flower photo day! I love all the different color hydrangeas.
At first I didn't see that that was Niagra Falls right behind the daffys - gasp - being that close takes my breath away!
Can never have too many flower pictures. The mass of daffodils is so pretty.
Oh my, I love those hydrangeas! I would kill (well just maime) for those!
I would LOVE to see Nigra Falls some day. Your photos are gorgeous.
You know, Irene, you guys get such hard winters, but just love the flowers that you have after the snow melts. We're too hot here in Texas for those varieties, but I love them.
Lovely flower photos. Well done.
Gorgeous hydrangeas.
Daffys are one of my favorites ... I would love to see an entire field of them.
Love the variety of colors on the hydrangeas! Lovely photos!
I'm running a bit late--it's been a busy weekend--but here's mine: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/06/saturday-snapshot-graduation-weekend.html
Gosh, I had no idea you were so close to the falls...wow. Lucky you!
Glad you enjoyed my tour to the Cloisters, Irene.
(Am reading Too Close to the Falls at the moment, at least my second time around. Presume you have read it).
What a great spot!
Hi Irene,
mia madre aveva questi fiori nel suo balcone... a me piacciono molto nel colore viola.
Belle foto.
Com'è il tempo da te ?

Hydrangeas remind me of my childhood.
We had them in the front garden.
