For Today

Outside My Window...
it's sunny and warm, and no rain

I am thinking...
what should I do first?

I am thankful for...
the longer days spring/summer bring, love going out at 8p.m. and it still being light.

From the learning rooms...
I'm going to try to move along my chair upholstery to an acceptable step before summer break, the woodwork is completely cleaned up and frame is rebuilt and re-enforced, it'll never come apart, or at least in my lifetime.

From the kitchen...
ham with orange marmelade glaze and rice

I am wearing...
yoga pants and a t shirt/ ready for some serious standing and hammering. I got myself a Body Rite Ergonomic Posture Aid, it gives me a few more hours of working time before exhaustion sets in.

I am creating...
a growth chart for my grand niece & nephew before a new baby comes along and steals their spotlight

I am going...
to upholstery class this evening, and painting tomorrow,

I am reading...
The Lonely Polygamist

On my mind...
designs for making each growth chart different and personal, I waited to get to know these babies so it could be just for them.

Around the house...
my son and husband are working on loading music for the old guy to stick into his ears

One of my favorite things...
tulips

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:
the usual Wed. & Fri. visits with my mom and finishing up my upholstery Tues. & Thurs. Saturday must get out to my garden, Sunday mass and volunteering, and it'll be next week.
Tulip hangovers, love it!

Hope you are enjoying The Lonely Polygamist. It was such a unique book, and was one of my favorite reads from last year.

I too love the fact that it is now light out long after dinner...
How thoughtful of you to do something for your grand niece and nephew to make them feel special before a new little one comes!

You're reading The Lonely Polygamist!! I read that earlier this year and really liked it but STILL haven't gotten around to writing my review. I need to get on the ball.
