Booking Through Thursday.
This is my first time with this meme. I'm too tired to think of another post, and this sounds good to me, so here it is...
What’s the most romantic book you’ve ever read?
(Mind you, I don’t mean the hard-core stuff you hide in plain wrappers under your mattress. I mean True Love, Romance, deeply emotional, heart-tugging, and all that stuff.)
And, secondly, did you like it? Is it your usual kind of reading, or did it take you by surprise?
The most romantic book(s) I've ever read, and they knocked my socks off were the Josephin B Trilogy. by Sandra Gulland. Who knew Napoleon was such a "hotty" I just thought of him as short. I enjoy historical fiction, but had no idea I was about to read a romance. yea Sandra.
I'm too old to be hiding books under the covers/mattress, with my memory I may never find them again. I encourage my children to read all kinds of things, how else will you know what you like if you don't try new things. I'll never forget my son's reaction when I was reading China Melivelle .
I like to rock their world, (kids that is). My son usually returns/or picks up my books at the library, and he is never embarrassed by what I'm reading. Some chick flicks he'll make me get myself. Imagine that?
*Thursday is my furniture restoration day, and that means I'm on my "sore foot" for 71/2 hours. a little tired today.* So glad I pre- made supper last night.

Sounds like a terrific book!
I never knew that about Napoleon either!
Sounds like a very interesting book!
Oooohhh, Napoleon and Josephine. They were a hot item. I may need to read this one, dear Irene ...
Heart tugging....The Notebook by Sparks is the first thing comes to mind. Made me cry and I still feel bad for the fictional characters.
