Can't believe I haven't posted since Tuesday...

For those of you who read my posts, you'll think I've been celebrating since Tuesday, not so.  I've been in and out of the yard, and then the regular stuff. And yesterday I looked after my niece's little girl. It's been a long time since I did stuff with babies, my guys are in their 20s.  She was a delight.  But I do wonder how I still sewed (for profit) and did crafts (for profit) while my guys slept.  Youth or should I say YOUTH.  I had all kinds of stuff to keep me occupied while she was sleeping like... this little christmas tree, I was making kits, for my nieces other daughter who likes to do crafts. Here in the photo it looks messy, but it's a cute little paper craft for a teacher to put on lunch tables during the Christmas season, and a great way to recycle Christmas cards.  I didn't bring my hole punch so I'll have to have a craft day where we assemble.  And then I went to visit my mother.  I had done so the day before as well and I missed my bus, so instead of standing there with the smokers on their way to the Juravinski Cancer Clinic (and they were smoking up a storm), I stepped into this little Antique Shop that is rarely opened when I'm in town. And look what caught my eye

I didn't notice it until I posted this photo, but that little table in the corner might appeal to my friend Anna, she's been looking for some piece to accommodate her newspapers.  I love the lines of this chair, wonder if it's an antique or just a weird piece.  If anyone knows, do tell.  So can you see me bringing this home on the bus.  I guess God knew what he was doing when he didn't let me drive.  Off to read Musashi, so much to catch up on.

P.S. or should I say FYI the chair is a mere $89.00 didn't notice what the table was.  Oh dear, now it's going to haunt me, where can I put this chair? My dining room would be great in the corner by the window, one could sit and enjoy the garden in  all the seasons.  Hmmmm.

Hi Irene :))
Buona serata.
Myriam :))

If you have a place for the chair, $89 is a great deal for such an interesting piece, antique or not.

GO GET THE CHAIR!!!! I loved it, if I lived by you I'd make sure you get the beauty home. Yea, I forgot what it was like to have a little one with special needs in the house, man I was exhausted that day, but brought back some wonderful memories of how I would have to deal with my son, amazing what a hug and sweet words can do, but on the opposite note, so thankful my babies are grown and independent, to a point I'm thankful....

Have a sweet day~
