Musing Monday

Musing Monday is hosted by Should Be Reading

This week’s question asks… Do you ever read a word or phrase that sparks a specific place or setting in your mind and makes you crave to read a book with that type of place/setting in it?

I don't know about craving to read a book with that type of place/setting, but I certainly want to visit the place. For example: When I read the book, Stop Over in Venice, I really need to go there now. And of late I read the Lace Reader, I need to go to Salem. So I guess it's the opposite way around for me. I read and need to visit. Now there are someplaces that I really don't want to go, like Ayn Rand's, We the Living, I'm o.k. not visiting Communist Russia.

I promised Leslie that I would limit my involvement in memes, but I couldn't pass this one up.

I also need to say that my Mailbox Monday is a good one today. Jenny from Jenny Girl sent me a great book,

thank you Jenny, I love books with "letter" formats. So now on to a "real"post.

Hi Irene,
oggi voglio consigliarti questo libro:
"Il palazzo della mezzonatte" di Carlos Ruiz Zafòn

Spero ti piaccia ma che non ti prenda la voglia di andare a Calcutta ( scherzo ).
Happy day :-)
