I don't know what happened to my little picture of A-Z Wednesday, but I'm quite sure it's only Tuesday, but Wednesday is only a day away (don't you want to break into song), and the letter is "V". I'm very anxious to start this book, I love Phillipa Gregory's novels, and her vivid descriptions. I'm so glad woman are far more liberated these days though.

I would like to check it out..
A-Z Wednesday: The Valentine Legacy by Catherine Coulter
My sister loves Phillipa Gregory but I must admit I'm not a fan of historic fiction...
Hi Irene
Thanks for stopping by, I have not read the book either on the TBR pile though....Happy Wednesday!!
I am not so much into historical novels I am afraid...perhaps because I never did history at school....so I am lazy at trying to understand it all!
Thanks for your comment on my blog re the photos I take. I don't know why but I love taking photos now that it is so easy with a digital camera (well, I used to like it before)...but I find the architecture fascinating...and so hence the doors and windows...I literally take hundreds of photos...sometimes per day...my grandson and family are another choice of topic!! The grandson doesn't mind, in fact at 18 months he even sat and posed and smiled for me the other day! Wow. What a good boy!
Love catching up here...my goodness you are going to do a lot of reading in 2010. I am currently reading "eat pray love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. Quite good. I am just going through my daughters books...a few of which I have given her!
I'm not much of historic fiction, but was surprised my "V" was very good!
Thanks for playing!
I really need to pick up something by Gregory one of these days.
I was crazy with this one from Gregory. I didn't like her portrayal of Elizabeth, and I wasn't as drawn to the story as her other books.
The cover is beautiful though.
