Mellow Yellow Monday

Because everything is better with a splash of yellow....

As you can see I'm in the garden again. I'm trying to do a photo journal of my plants, with stories behind them. This is a yellow rose, obviously, a Mother's Day gift again. (I bought it for myself).

This plant is "creeping Jenny" when we first started the pond, I was so desperate to have some plants that grew quickly around it that I chose this one. You CANNOT get rid of creeping jenny. I let it bloom and then I pull it to make room for other things, but it's relentless and comes back again and again and again...

Check out other Mellow Yellow Participants.

So pretty! I know ALL about Creeping Jenny; a friend gave me some when I said I wanted something that wouldn't die. Well, it sure as heck won't die ... it just takes over more and more each year. It's pretty, but I fear one day it'll creep into my house :-)
