O.K. Artsy friends, this is my canvas, my charming niece did take a picture. So you can see in the lower corner where there should have been sentiment I just got smudges. I understand that I could have used geso, and what else could I do to keep my sentiment from sliding. Geso seems too messy to use after a transfer medium.

I rather like it like that! After all it is a vintage photo. Many congrats to your Mum. Please give her a kiss for me when you see her this week. The important thing is that you made the canvas' and I'm sure everyone was thrilled.

I had to enlarge it to get a good look...the eyes aren't what they used to be...lol - But, I like the look, very nostalgic and the picture is a lovely heirloom...what was your mom's response?

She didn't want to part with them, there were actually 4 different photo's presented in the same way. My niece wanted them and I was happy to let her have them. I will be doing a proper collage in the same manner for my mom. For her room. This was one of those spur of the moment creations. The best kind. I think.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
