MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Here's my teaser: Water for Elephants.
Age is a terrible thief. Just when you're getting the hang of life, it knocks your legs out from under you and stoops your back. It makes you ache and muddies your head and silently spreads cancer throughout your spouse.
I love how this author in these very few lines establishes the background of the major character.
I should note that I have not seen the movie.

I loved that book and hope you do too.
I think I'm one of the few people that didn't like this book.
I really liked this book and the movie.
I have neither seen the movie nor read the book. I like the line you quoted, dear Irene.
