For Today...

FOR TODAY
Outside my window... it's sunny and warm, spring is definitely here
I am thinking...I should go put the pump on in the pond.
I am thankful for...my son has finished his 3rd year of university, successfully, today.
From the learning rooms...I learned how to use a grinder today in refinishing class.
From the kitchen...chicken casserole, and asparagus
I am wearing...my p.j.s, I need to shower after class,as I was covered in sawdust, and I thought what the heck, pjs sound good to me.
I am creating...a new heritage painting or trying to... for the desk I just stripped.
I am going...have a glass of wine with dinner
I am reading...The Uglies
I am hoping...for more wonderful sunny days.
I am hearing...the cat complain that I won't let him out, the cats in the neighborhood are fighting.
Around the house...my son is no longer studying, my husband is working, and we are celebrating my little grand nieces' 3rd birthday.
One of my favorite things...A&W rootbeer in a frosted glass.

Seven days of lilies makes one week...

This is the most delicate of the day lilies I have. It's soft and pink. I believe the name is "many happy returns". I hope so...

Saturday's Lily

This lily is so tall I had to stand on a stool to dead head it. I think I'll be moving it to cover some of the taller car parts. As you see it's smack in the middle of my " White garden".

Thursday's lily

I planted this lily at the edge of my pond, in amongst the iris's. I don't mind the green part of the Iris after it's bloom, it make the pond look quite natural, so I thought adding a little colour later in the season would be nice. This too was to be a yellow lily. It's really quite burgandy.
