For today...

Outside my window...it's dark still, but raining heavily, can't sleep,
I am thinking...I must be getting old, when all the sleep I get are cat naps.
I am thankful for... cat naps
From the learning rooms...still trying to learn patience
From the kitchen...Sweet Potato and Parsnip soup
I am wearing...my p.j.s.
I am creating...a list of calls to make
I am going...no where, I'm just not up to it.
I am reading....Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa
I am hoping...I can actually read today,
I am hearing...my cat complaining that he had to get up and keep me company
Around the house... not much, cleaning, cooking, laundry the usual.
One of my favourite things...a bowl of hot soup, on a damp rainy day/maybe I'll bake some bread to go with.
Some Plans for the rest of the week... I'll be doing some accessibility assessments, and appointments need to be made with clients.

Aren't these adorable, I read about these on Catherine Holman's blog, it's a design from Holland Design I actually have that little plate these are pictured on, (one of my not so recent acquisitions). This may have to be a winter project for me. I'm sure I could find a little lady who would like these. Or maybe they'll fit me, my crocheting tension is not so accurate.
