I'm a Potterhead,I think.

AI finished the new Harry Potter book.  I did like it.  I've read many a post saying they didn't like the format of the book, yet I didn't mind.  Having read all the other Potter books, I could picture all the characters as I remembered them.

I love what Burlington, On. The library leaves a book on public transit for riders to read, and return to any bus.  Love it.  I'm presently reading The day the Falls Stood Still, and loving it, almost finished.
Not quite the method used in some communities to promote reading, like the little houses left at roadsides with books, but certainly a worthy effort.

Happy Reading.

I'm glad you liked it. I haven't read the books or seen the movies. My son and daughter in law have all of them, and gave them to me to read/watch, but I didn't. I did read a little of the first book but then got sidetracked by review books. I'm done requesting tour/review books for a while so I can catch up on the books I own but haven't read. Maybe after that I'll try again.

Love the lending books in the little houses concept too. Also have heard that people write their name and a note to pass on the book to someone else. I like that idea. I don't like to part with books, but I do leave good new magazines in waiting rooms. Guess that makes me downright cheap come to think of it.

We have the little libraries all over town for people to leave a book or take a book most of them are for children's books. I read the first HP book, but never continued.

I've been visiting the library quite a lot lately. I think it's amazing how most people don't take advantage of its free riches. xoxo
