It's Monday, What are you reading?

At this time of year I feel like I need to read something "Christmas" related.  I'll be doing a Christmas Reading display at the library soon, probably Friday... So on the night stand.
it a good way to get into the spirit,  well before Black Friday.

book photos of books I own.

Well I must confess, dear Irene, that until I unearth "Carl's Christmas" and put it on display for the season, I don't do much Christmas reading. I do however listen to Christmas music (I like the stuff from my childhood, like Ray Conniff Singers and Mantovani), and I begin watching my many Christmas movies: The Bishop's Wife, A Christmas Carol, White Christmas, Christmas in Connecticut, Christmas with the Kranks, et cetera. It's pretty epic. I'm really excited about all of it this year. xoxo

What a great idea.
What a great idea , reading Christmas stories.
That first one looks interesting!

Christmas is so different here.
Summertime, hot, ugh.
Stay out of the sun..
kids visiting..fun..

Reading a strange book I picked up at a second hand sale called On Pilgrimage..
a woman visiting places in France...in some ways it could be a very ordinary book,
even boring for some
but interesting enough for me...
