On Wednesdays I paint with a group of ladies. We've painted together for some 18 years. A long time. The last 10 have been at a community centre, where they have a lunch/cafe. When I started to visit my mom in the afternoon, after painting, which ends at 12:00noon, the cafe group knew I was on a train and off to another city, they started to make me a sandwich for the road, so to speak. Well the cafe is staffed by volunteers. Today there was a young woman there, who was interested in volunteering to fulfill her "requirements" for some course she was talking. Well my sandwich order is placed early in the day so the ladies have lots of time to get it ready for me, I have no butter. Hence the problem... how does one spell butter. May I say this young women was in her senior years of the course she was taking. Bhutter! new spelling, or ... am I being too picky?

Well, I don't think we can blame texting for that mis-spelling - adding an extra letter is odd. It would be 'butta' maybe! Seriously that is bad! You are most definitely not being picky.
LOL That is pretty funny--and NO you are not being picky. lol It COULD be Budda?! tch tch tch
I was thinking about you today--Thank you for your visits and comments. They mean the world to me.
How's your sister doing? How are you doing? ((hugs))
LOL!! I've never heard of Bhutter! Sounds like it could be related to butter, but...maybe not :)
No you're not being picky, it's ridiculous how people don't care about spelling anymore. And not just spelling, but grammar, usage, and punctuation have been kicked to the curb also! This is truly my pet peeve, dear Irene. But I hope your sammie was tasty. xoxo
