Mailbox Monday... NOTHING

I'm on that "stolen time" computer again.  Mine is still not working well, and this one is so difficult to navigate, but, suffice it to say, I got nothing in the mailbox this week.  I have purchased and borrowed several books, but nothing delivered.  It must be my mailbox, it eats things up... just kidding.

Presently reading:  a Charles Todd, A Bitter Truth, during the WWI, Bess Crawford gets involved in a family difficulty, resulting in the death of a house guest.  I'm  reading this as part of my War Through the Generations Challenge. although I'd have read it anyway, love this author(s).

Finished last week, The Wives of Los Almos. recently reviewed by Vicki at Reading at the Beach.
an unusual narration, of an interesting topic, that I would have never thought about, were it not for this book.
I'm still waiting for the window installation, may not happen today, yet again.  How annoying.

So once again I'm missing a watercolour class, that makes me even madder.   Scanner not functioning so I can't even show you my latest "valuable lesson", Thanks Shelley.

I'm deeply into Colin Dexter's Inspector Morse mysteries this summer, dear Irene. My library card has been getting quite the workout. Then each Sunday I DVR Endeavour on PBS so that sometime during the week I can watch Morse as a young cerebral bachelor solving Oxford's crimes in the '60s. Quite entertaining. xoxo

Grrrrr, about the computer problems and the waiting issue for a contractor. Two of the most aggravating things in the world!
