Positive Thoughts #2

So we've just returned from a very long road trip.  We enjoyed a lovely wedding and company of family and friends.  We did not enjoy the traffic so much, but being positive, the traffic allowed us to see a little of Manhattan we would not have seen, had thing flown by.

Positive thoughts are still on the menu here:
1.  We travelled safely for a 12hour road trip to and from our family wedding.
2.  All went well, and I still fit into the dress I took to wear, my hair didn't frizze up too much, and actually looked O.K. Beach weddings frizze me up, usually.
3.  The dinner was wonderful, the music excellent and dinner companions pleasant.
4.  Our elderly family members were present and hung in there throughout the festivities.
5.  And there is no place like home, "click of the heels" there's no place like home.

I like your way of thinking. We can all learn from you.

There surely is no place like home, dear Irene, and I do normally despair at the thought of a road trip, but sometimes we must break out of the shell and have an adventure. I'm glad you saw some sights and some romance and that your hair behaved. But no matter how smooth the sailing, I know it's positively glorious when you get back into your own bed. xoxo

Happy Birthday
