Writers Workshop...if you were a tree?

This Week's Writing Prompts for Thursday 05.15

1.) A quote from someone that has stuck with you.
2.) List 13 things you love about vacation.
3.) Public speaking.
4.) Something you got away with.
5.) If your family were dogs, what breed would each of them be?

the above are the writing prompts for this week, from Mama Kat's pretty much famous  workshop.

#5 reminded me of Barbara Walters interview yesterday, they are making such a big deal about her leaving television,.  She apparently asked Kathrine Hepburn what kind of tree she would be.  All this was prompted by Kathrine.  Can you imagine all the interviews she has done to have that one question pop up.  I suppose many will look that interview up, including me.  I like K and B..especially the SNL version.  Don't know what prompt I'll use, but #5 is calling me, if it were not for my family being upset with my choices.  So I may play it safe and do #2.

By the way Barbara if I were a tree I'd have to be a Jazembina/Mountain Ash?

Hello, my dear. What an interesting post! ((hugs)) I hope your week is wonderful. How are you? How is your sis? My husband and I are leaving today for a trip to the coast for our 31st anniversary.

I've already scheduled PFF for Friday, just in case we don't get back in time for me to put it up! lol

I'll have to look up those trees to see what they look like!

I saw a commercial about a Barbara Walters special but I wasn't really paying attention and didn't realize she's leaving television.

I remember so well when "Babwah" asked KH that question, dear Irene. She was ridiculed for it for years. I don't know that it's such a dumb question. As for me, I would most definitely be a delicate but flamboyant crape myrtle. The fuchsia kind.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
