Sunday Salon...

Remember this, these were the very fragrant bulbs I had to put into the washroom,  I love them, but they are so strong, I was getting high on the fragrance.  WELL I stuck them in the ground and here they are today

If I were not so stuffed up I could bend over (and maybe not get up) and smell.
Sunday Salon finds me somewhat recuperated from this dreadful coughing,  I still get the odd cough, but not nearly as wicked as last week.  Good thing, since I've got a full week ahead.  I want to finish my portrait drawings of my boys so I booked into a class with Shelley Prior for the a.m. and then the regular stuff for the rest of the week. Not too much longer in the classrooms for me, another four weeks, hopefully I'll be finished my new adventure,  the desk should be good and dry by the time I return on Tuesday, I'd love to bring it home, but I'm sure Mike will say we need one more coat of antique oil, that'll make it 7 coats, it looks fabulous.  I've left some of the dings in it, just removed the burn marks, smokers, couldn't they just find an ash tray, but that's the difference between the new furniture and good old solid oak.  I was able to sand all those marks out, I hope I'll be as lucky on the little coffee table from my mom's house.

Did a couple of hours at the creative festival on Friday.  It seemed weird being there as a shopper, usually I was there in a booth.  I didn't stay for any shows, just not up to it, did a quick walk about, picked up some pink fat quarters for Lisa's hexi quilt and that was that. Krystyna was at the crochet booth, with the Alice in Wonderland silent auction, holy smoke what clever people are out there.  I love the Cheshire
cat, in a felted crochet, amazing.

Today's adventure will include making a meal or two, and hitting my son's room, I keep piling things in there and now I really need to get o making a dress so that's the starting point, clearing a spot to sew on.  My sewing room is still in a box so I'll be doing the steps quite a bit, maybe I'll lose some weight, but more likely I'll be exhausted.

Have a wonderful Sunday and a great week.

So pleased to hear that your cough is improving Irene. And may it keep trending that way, all the way out of you and the house! ;-)

Thanks for your visit to my seat photo. I was pleased with it, the only decent photo I took in a whole big bunch on Saturday. Wish I had the energy to do as many creative things as you do!

I hope your cough keeps getting better! That is so frustrating to be sick for so long.

Busy busy busy!! Love the flowers!

Glad your cough is better! My BFF has had one on and off for about a month, along with congestion. She went back to the dr. last week and seems it's finally gone for good.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
