Sunday Salon...

Sunday Salon finds me saying TGIS (Thank goodnes it's Sunday, no heavy duty work today).  I don't have any idea why, but I'm exhausted.  Spent Saturday at a Crop Hop, got 15 double sided pages cropped, which I think may be a record for me.  I didn't fuss, but did a nice job.  The job at hand is over 200 photos to fit into one book, so I've been selective.  I'm hoping the recipient will appreciate my efforts (Paulina). The upcoming week promises to be a busy one, we are on March Break, well me anyway.  Our eldest son is coming over to help (to do) some insulating in our basement.  Hopefully Handy Andy will be working elsewhere, because the other identity Handy Andy carries is Old Yeller. So I imagine my next Sunday Salon will read much the same TGIS.

After Mass, I plan on hitting my scraping room, to tidy up and give Daniel a room to sleep in.  S. Vincent will be working till late tonight, so I won't even have to make a dual supper (S. Vincent doesn't eat veggies).

On the reading front, I'm still reading Five Little Pigs, Agatha Christie.  I don't know what it is about these books, but it feels like, that time when you come home from a hard day and take a leisurely bath and slip into you P.J.s and slippers.  That's the feeling I have when I open a Christie book.  I think I may be a little off... it is murder mystery.  I think it's probably the description of the characters.  Otherwise, all my holds from the library seemed to have arrived at the same time, so I'll be frantically reading.

I don't know if any of you have watched the Para Olympics, I put it on last evening when I crashed, and watched the hockey, "my goodness" those young men have to be in incredible shape.  I haven't had an opportunity to watch much else, but WOW is all I can say.

Well that's it for now.
and No we don't have daffodils just yet, we still have at least 3 feet of snow in the yard, and rabbit droppings everywhere.

Can you believe I've never read Agatha Christie? Sounds like I should get on that, pronto.

A restful day is necessary from time to time to recharge your batteries. Enjoy your son's visit!

Our daffys are all the way up, if a trifle bewildered ... shivering one day, drooping the next, lifting their yellow heads and drinking in the sunshine the next. Theirs is an existence of total confusion while it lasts, dear Irene.

I used to read as many Christie books as I could get my hands on, but haven't in so long. Your post makes me want to read one again.

My son doesn't like veggies either. Well, cooked ones. Unless their piled high with cheese.
