For Today...

FOR TODAY
Outside my window...

We actually had a snow storm AGAIN today, it's very cold still in the - temps.
I am thinking...

Will this winter never end?

I am thankful...

for all those wonderful woolly socks Mrs. Wilson knitted for me, keeping my toes warm

In the kitchen...

Well, I was making lazy cabbage rolls, and Handy Andy decided not to stay home and wait for them to finish cooking so,  I set it aside, So we had tortellini, with bacon and broccoli, yummy

I am wearing...

furniture refinishing clothes, old stuff
I am creating...

a bunch of stuff on the table, pictures will follow, when I finish
I am going...

to painting group in the a.m.

I am wondering...

Will this winter never end?
I am reading...

Still Life, Louise Penny an Inspector Gamache mystery
I am hoping...

our politicians get along just long enough for me to make a dress for a couple of weddings I have
I work in Electoral Co-ordination

I am looking forward to...
to see how my rebuilt oak desk looks in S. Vincent's room, I've made room for his legs to fit under, he's so tall

I am learning

to SHUT MY MOUTH

Around the house...

a mess, but it's getting better, someday I'll have walls and flooring and shelving, and baseboards,it will be amazing.
I am pondering...

I still could use another day in the week

A favorite quote for today...

You are exactly where you have chosen to be

One of my favorite things...

a real cup of tea, not herbal, not flowery and not necessarily good for me

A few plans for the rest of the week:

dinner and theater with my sisters/nieces

A peek into my day...

raw materials for a simple canvas with decorative papers and some gold

For Today is hosted by A Simple Woman's Day Book

I've been meaning to make some Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls, but haven't yet. My mom's cabbage rolls were amazing and I really miss them, and her, and her chicken and dumplings.

I can't believe it's the end of March and it's still snowing all over!

You must be tired of snow. We had it twice this winter and that was to many times for me.
