Our cat acts the same way with my son. He works 2 12 hr. shifts in a row, and then 2 8 hrs., but he's gone 2 more hours each day because of an hour drive each direction. Then he has 3 days off. The cat gets used to him being home, then can't figure out where he is when he goes back to work.
Haaaaa, dear Irene, you make me laugh. There is NO corner of my house that tidy!!!! And no cat either. But Javier does suffer the grumpies and groanies whenever Erica stays awhile, then goes away again. He has to make do with me. I try to love on him extra. xoxo
