Frosty toes...

It's still VERY cold and snowy here in the GTA.  thought my toes and calves were frost bitten yesterday.  My friend Shirley and I headed out to a paint-in.  It was a slow go.  Shirley is a good driver.  I don't think I'd have headed out on my own.  We had a very productive relaxing day in spite of the cold.  I think my toes defrosted around noon.

And then today I was back at furniture refinishing, I'm working on an oak headboard, it's a big job.  Stinky!

I can't wait for Spring, even if it means a lot of work in the yard (after the ice storm).

Glad you are defrosting! We had record breaking cold here today. Glad to hear that your sister is doing better.

We've been so lucky here in the north of England this year, no snow - yet! I can't believe it, we've lived here four years and this is the first winter without snow.

I'm impressed by your furniture restoration - I wouldn't know where to start!!!

Well I am glad that despite the frigid temps you have friends to spend time with doing something you love, dear Irene. I am very intimidated by your furniture refinishing skills. I have less than zero talent in that area. xoxo

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
