Due to my recent illness, I've missed a couple of weeks of furniture refinishing, and I'm in withdrawal. I really try not to do this at home, it's so messy, and as you know I don't like to clean. So, I thought I'd just look at a few pictures. I to love see the different layers of paint on an old piece.

You know I only get this way when I start to clean, and move things around. I'm afraid my eldest has inherited this "moving around" gene. His girlfriend says everytime she comes over the room is in a different arrangement. I told her it's a sign of instability, he could go Viking on anyone, anytime. I figure if she was just messin' around, she'd have left him by now, so maybe she's willing to stick it out. I think I like her.

I wish I was crafty like you. My mom and 3 sisters had the gene, but not me. Maybe I need to find a project and try it, I might like it.
I used to move the living room furniture around ever so often. I haven't in about 4 years, even though I want to.
LOL, I don't like to rearrange the furniture at all. I would trip over everything! I'm glad you are feeling good enough to start the refinishing project again.
I hope you are feeling better. you did a nice job stripping the rocker. What's next?
Isn't it funny what clues us into this one just could be the one! I love to rearrange, but it drives my hubby crazy so I try to limit it.
"He could go Viking on anyone, anytime." LOLOL that's hysterical, dear Irene. I am an inveterate mover of furniture too.
Wow. HOw do you fix slats like that?
This reminds me; our French doors need sanding and sealing.
