Sunday Salon..

This week has been the usual, house wifey stuff, upholstery and furniture is back in session.  I've switched those two around to make more progress, it seems I need to be 100% sure my chairs in really good shape before I recover.  I can't believe some of the others, just hammering away with out checking joints. On Wednesday, painting group, got well under way with my new Geisha painting.  This is going to be a long painting project, her face is turning out too tanned, must change something there, stepped away to get a fresh view.
Feeling:
Anxious for winter to be over, the calendar tells us it should be, but mother nature didn't get the memo.
Watching:
Nothing interesting on T.v. for me.  Finally got back to viewing Tom Selleck (I know he's old, but I remember when)on Friday night, I just don't care for a couple of other members of the cast, so I've lost my flow in that show, but I was too tired to do anything else on Friday night and I was waiting for my guys to come in.
Listening To:
Miss Marple Investigates, read by Joan Hickson
Reading:
Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt, Beth Hoffman it seems I'm reading books about kids with moms that are not well and then die. I want to adopt.
Then:
no idea, something upbeat and funny from my stack, not sure there is one like that there, but...
Eating:
last week, mostly leftovers from Easter events.  This morning made french toast from some egg bread slices, mmmmmmmmmmmm. is all I can say. Tasted like a freshly baked doughnut.
Exercising:
Not much, the weather has been cold, so walking is limited, and my calves have been aching so much, all I feel like doing is putting my feet up.  My exercising consists of up and down the stairs carrying laundry, and heaving chairs up and down to the worktable, and then a really exhausted walk to the train.
Thinking:
I need an energy boost.  Oh for some warm weather, to get out and enjoy some sun.
Looking Forward To:
Upcoming events, Creative Festival, Coast to Coast Decorative Painters convention, and National Scrapbooking Day. Hopefully no election will be called in that time frame, that would tick me off, more than I can describe.
A Favorite Quote:
I'm quoting my mom: You can always clean your house, but if your mind is a mess... (this is literal from Polish) she had some good ones, some that were Xrated.
A Favorite Photo:
My youngest with a new little pet/cousin, she really is little and fragile, and he's big and strong and doesn't move quickly to scare a little girl.

Think I need an energy boost too Irene. This cleaning and tidying and sorting and selling the house is exhausting!

Hope the weather warms up and the flowers start blooming for you soon! It is cooling down rapidly here. Amazing.

Dear Irene, re: Tom Selleck, I remember when, too. He was quite the hunk in Magnum, P.I. TG and I never missed an episode and saw most of them twice. Now you take it easy and before you know it, it will be warm enough to walk again. Meanwhile have some more french toast.

If you want a fun read (although it works best on audio) I'd suggest Where'd You Go, Bernadette -- especially if you're not a fan of Seattle.

Happy Birthday
