Greetings from WAY UP HIGH! Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada.
Earlier this year my friend and I and her mom visited Niagara Falls, I'm sort of tired of postcards of the falls, so I'm sending this one out. Niagara Falls has become sort of a playground. I guess visitors soon find the falls both wet and noisy, even though they run it at a very reduced volume, (I didn't know that). We take a little tour of some different point at the falls each time we visit. I'm kinda over going in the tunnels, just to tight for this larger body, it's strictly single file in there and for some reason of late that bothers me. Anyway, our latest little tour was on the HYDRO supply of the falls. So this is where we learned that it is not run at full capacity. We noticed it was quite loud anyway, imagine if they ran it full force. No idea how they hold it back, it was too loud to hear the tour guide. And then on our return walk, Janice wanted to hit it high. Not for me either. Maybe another time. Enjoy your Postcard Friendship Friday at Beth's the best hearts are crunchy .

I have not taken this tour (maybe I should, so I could learn something, too!) I actually collect vintage NF cards and have quite a collection now. The old coloured cards are far more interesting than the new ones of today.
Sounds like a fun trip!
This looks like to be inspired by the colorful tail of the peacock. Ah! Me and my imagination!
Not run at full capacity? Never knew that. If I was able to visit every year I would also check out a different area each time. Beautiful card and glad you had a good time!
I thought it looked like a peacock's tail too! I'm hoping to visit Niagara Falls before too long, from the Canadian side, when I visit my sister.
I loved Niagra Falls and I adore this postcard. I have visited there twice in our travels.
There is a magical quality to the falls--I watched the mist maidens dancing to some unheard music there. I don't know if anyone else saw them...but I sure did.
((hugs))
Have a lovey day, my Friend and Happy PFF!
Happy PFF! Never been to the Niagara Falls. I've only seen it in the film with Marilyn Monroe. But I do like the card.
Never made it to the Falls. Always wanted to. Maybe someday.
I have always loved Niagra Falls--I've visited there a couple of times. It is one of my favorite places to go. I'd love to visit there one more time.
Happy PFF!
I have never been to Niagara Falls. I would like to see it, but it wouldn't be worth making a special trip from where I live.
