Winter Wonderland

This morning when I woke up I was expecting a little snow, I did however have an appointment, I got to the corner of my street and turned back.  I'm counting that as my 1 km. for the day, what a workout, I had to almost pick up my feet (wearing heavy boots)my knees reaching almost to my chin, to climb through the snow.  Cancelled my appointment.
When I got home my cat was doing some quality control on a piece I am working on.  You can see out the window at this point.  As the day progressed it kept snowing.and snowing...

the snow is high enough to cover the lower portion or the window, more than a few inches. Quite difference from my previous post.  Those lovely flowers on the right are a growth chart I'm having difficulty parting with. Handy Andy is out with his snow blower.  If you've ever seen him cut the grass, you can imagine what the snow blowing is like, I'm not sure it's not just a waist of gas.  My son went out to shovel the entry to the driveway, cause his dad just doesn't do it well, good thing he has a day job. (handy Andy that is) And now, over night we'll just snuggle under and wait for spring.  Stay warm.

Good grief girl, are you going to be alright?! I've been praying for you and for several other friends caught in the monster snow storm.

lol I giggled at the thought of you cleaning your house--I am in desperate need of that myself. Tch tch tch--I've lost some stuff in my craft room. Go figure!

Anyhow, I'm envious of your snow. Over here, in Oregon--not one flake fell and stayed on the ground for any length of time. I can't remember a winter where it didn't snow once.

((hugs)) Take care, keep warm, stay cozy.

That's a lovely growth chart! Does that not belong to Miss Emily?

Wow! That is a ton of snow. We had rain on Thursday but, other than that, we had a beautiful, warm week.

I can't remember the last time snow came to the window. Wow!

This year in the Midwest, we had a total of only two snowfalls. Neither of which came anything close to yours. :-)

Holy moly!! I haven't seen this much snow since I was a little girl in Kansas City. And then, only one year here and there. This is a LOT of snow!

I'm so glad your kitty is helping you. That looked like it might have walked away if she wasn't sitting in it.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
