A slice of sunshine...

It's winter and many are waiting for the light to return.
Karen at My Little Home and Garden has started her Sun Lit Sunday Party again.
Please join us as we share the light: sun light, smiles, JOY!

It's very gloomy here, even though the ground is covered in white, the sun is hidden someplace, I crave a slice of something "citrus".  Time to frame this little piece and hang it someplace I think, then I'll have a slice of sunshine anytime I want.

Yes I painted this, I'm still amazed at how good it looks,  sort of "did I do that?" (said in the voice of Urkel.)

Hello, Irene

This beautiful sunny, citrus watercolour is just what I needed to see on this grey day. I assume you painted it yourself, talented woman!

Thank you so much for sharing this juicy picture on "Sunlit Sunday".

It may be frigid here but we still have sunshine. Your citrus watercolour certainly can light up a room.

I think your citrus slices would bring a touch of sunshine to any room if framed.

Stopping by from Sunlit Sunday! I love all things citrus, so you know I love this! Kinda gloomy and grey here today as well! Nice blog - I am a new follower.

How beautiful! I love the colour - you can almost smell the fragrance too. I hope it brightens up the gloom :)

I don't know how you did it, dear Irene, because I had to look carefully in order to ascertain that it was NOT a real sliced lemon sitting on a cutting board. That's quite a feat. I am lost in admiration because I myself can hardly draw a straight line. *sigh* Thanks be to God for the gifts He sees fit to give us!

Okay, now, Irene, after my bookmark swap, I happen to KNOW that you are a wonderful artist. So I am not surprised to see such a beautiful painting. The light is just imminating from it!

There's no sunshine here in the Pacific Northwest - just rain. A slice or orange or lemon, or better yet, a water colour or oil to have around all day long would be welcome!
