Saturday Snapshot...

It's that time of year again, the stores are packed with decorative objects, and the craft dept. at my house is hopping.  I haven't even designed this years card yet, and then I see a advertisement for mailing out Christmas stuff ... REALLY already.  I've had one of those weeks, a lot of bus trips, but no reading.  I've hauled my Kobo around and another book, but I've had these chatty drivers, alright "shut up and drive".  Last night I had a girl sitting behind me, who was on her phone, and went on and on about how her mother was pistol whipped on Halloween, she made 8 calls. So I didn't get to read.  The upcoming week doesn't look too much easier, but I DO hope to finish my library book.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce, from At Home with Books.

All of that phone chatting would be really annoying. I hope you get to read more this week!

Christmas baubles look so enticing when they are piled up like that. The shops here have had Christmas stuff for weeks - it seems to get earlier every year. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/CQuKI

Beautiful, but I do wish they'd let us celebrate one holiday at a time.

Went to KLeinberg yesterday and all the lil' stores were outside decorating for Christmas. I guess they were taking advantage of the nice warm Sunday....hope you get some reading done this week.

I like the effect on your photo, but am not ready to think about Christmas just yet.

Oh no... Christmas already! The stores already have their displays out but I prefer to wait until December arrives.

Dear Irene, it hit me this morning that Thanksgiving is one week from today and all of my family will be descending, expecting to be fed in the fashion to which they've become accustomed while at my house. Also it means a certain standard of cleanliness and decorating and general domestic splendidness which is not in evidence at the present time. In other words, my work is cut out for me. Hope you get some reading done!

If I got a Christmas card this early, I would return it to the sender!

If only people were more aware of others' comfort. It really is disheartening. I've taken to keeping my iPhone earbuds in a lot when I'm in public by myself because that's really the best way for me to keep my blood pressure down. It looks rude, but it's self-preservation! And so many people don't seem to care about rudeness any more.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
