Saturday Snapshot... Reading at the Beach

To participate in the Saturday Snapshot meme post a photo that you (or a friend or family member) . Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see. How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. Please don’t post random photos that you find online.
Finally...

the water
the sand
the sun, the eats

but most importantly good company, my sister and brother in law

We scheduled a time for the beach this past week, I didn't even read too far into my book, thinking this is a beach read.  My husband couldn't fit us into his schedule.  Too bad, so sad.  You'd think by this time he'd have enough money.  The almighty dollar! Well our trip to Port Dover was wonderfully relaxing, we're looking for a cottage for next year. Get ready, husband of mine.  Have a wonderful Saturday.

On another happy note I won a copy of Where'd You Go Bernadette from Vicki at Reading At the Beach, I guess I'll have to make another trip to honour Vicki and read this book by the water/sand.

It took me a second to realize what the beach umbrella was in the first photo. :) Looks like a fun day!

It looks lovely, and you've got some un usual shots there with the beach umbrella and the legs. My Saturday Snapshot is very brief this week but it's sad - a site where lepers once lived http://goo.gl/TkmQ7

Fresh air at the beach, fellowship, and good food! How can you NOT have a good time, LO?!

I love the beach, but haven't been in years! Which is kind of sad, since the closest beach is only a couple of hours away.

Hope you enjoy Bernadette...and thanks for visiting my blog.

Looks like a great time! Makes me think I need to schedule beach time next year (don't think it's going to happen in what's left of this summer).

Here's my Snapshot.

Looks like you had a great time. One of my favorite pastimes, reading at the beach, and I don't get to do it often enough.

Too bad that hubby couldn't get there … I'm glad you did though. We're not going to have many more beach days left.

The beach looks beautiful! I also love those chairs; they look like a comfy place to sit and read in the shade.

I did not know they had beaches in Canada, dear Irene! Isn't that funny? I just think of it as cold. So silly.
