Outside my window... it's overcast and actually cool, BRAVO
I am thinking...that was a whirlwind of a couple of days
I am thankful...so thankful to be home
In the kitchen...no idea, I need to go for a grocery run.
I am wearing...my p.j.s( you know that) but I will dress today.
I am creating...working on my grandnieces headboard, she's two and going into a big girl bed. Exciting.
I am going...today, staying put, I've just come back from a two day treck with my friend and her mom. We had a good time, a few laughs and a heart to heart talk. Hope she saves me a seat in heaven.
I am reading...The Stand, still, I'm on page. 867, only a couple a hundred more,
I am hoping...to get my headboard, primed and basecoated, the design is floating around in my head, and I mean floating, I'm kinda empty today.
I am looking forward to...cooking something to eat, since it's cool I may actually cook something "more" than a quick supper.
I am learning... to listen, and hold my tongue, boy is that tough.
Around the house...same old stuff, my son will be off to work, my husband will be doing reports for work, and I'll be their slave.
I am pondering...just pondering aimlessly, I've been wanting to do a living wreath, and have check out a few sites with directions, but I'm thinking I might be too late in the season.

One of my favorite things...weird and wonderful sandwiches, I made a chicken, brie and apple sandwich the other day.Yummy. I think pear slices might have been even more tasty, and maybe some artisan bread. It was like a grill cheese.
A few plans for the rest of the week: not much of a week left. painting, laundry, tomorrow is my volunteering day and my mom's. Saturday, continue painting, need to do some deadheading in the garden, more laundry.

So good to hear it has cooled down for you Irene. Sounds like you enjoyed the company regardless of the weather anyway.
The book review below sounds interesting...Impartial Witness. I don't normally read Crime stuff, but you have almost convinced me to read that one.
Glad you enjoyed my walk around the beach at Caloundra. Have had a busy week with grandchildren.
