Teaser Tuesday...Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here's mine:

"And Larry did understand.  If he'd been missing a daughter, he would come here, too.  He would go everywhere.  he knew the worst thing must be the waiting, not being able to do anything, while your girl was lost in the woods or bound in somebody's closet, hung from the bar with her own red brassiere.

Sure he understood. "

This book was highly recommended by Jenners of  Life with Books, and I read everything she and Nise tell me to.  Well maybe not everything they are lightening readers. They've not let me down, so skip the sites that tell you what to read, go there immediately.

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by Miz B at Should be Reading.

This sounds like a hard book to read. Only because reading about loss of children or hurt children really gets to me. But I bet it's really good to! Great teaser, thanks for sharing:). Here's mine: http://owl-read-it.blogspot.ca/2012/05/teaser-tuesday-11.html

This is such a sad teaser! D: It was really well written though, and makes me interested to read this book. Thanks for sharing!

It sounds so sad, not sure if I could handle this one either. Thanks for visiting my blog earlier today.

If I were blogging, I'd be doing this. I may just post my quote here. I'm reading a fun book about Dark Shadows the TV series. So fun to hear how they did things over 40years ago!

I'm gonna give this a go if I can remember to. I'll keep an eye out for this book as soon as I get through the pile of "reads to get to" that I have sitting beside my chair.
