Sunday Salon...

Sunday Salon finds me packing up my hobbies for the summer.  I've gotten this little chair to put some flowers on in my garden but you know I'll have to fix it up before I do.  Things that took me away from reading this week were the usual household chores.  And now the garden is in full swing of NEEDs.  I have grand plans of doing a major clean up over the summer, and I NEED to paint my kitchen.  OCH I'm tired already.  This weekend I was part of a committee that ran a used booksale.  We estimate that we received approx. 8 thousand books, and sold 2/3 of that.  Some decent books were donated.  YOU KNOW I BOUGHT SOME.  The most interesting book I saw was Poolside, a completely waterproof book of short stories.  Since I have no pool, I didn't buy it.  I finished reading Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter.  O M G that was a good book.  It's been reviewed to death so I won't do it again.  And now to sort out the rest of my books.  Have a good week.

Sounds like a huge book sale! We need to collect up a couple of dozen and tote them down to the used book seller in town.

Hope you get some rest!
