Teacup Tuesday...

My sister and I have been on the hunt for the ultimate tea cozy.  Could this be it?  It is suppose to keep my tea warm for two hours.  A purchase form the One of a Kind show. (the only purchase, I was such a good girl). It doesn't really fit my teapots well, so I'm wondering.  Well off to test it.

Happy Teacup Tuesday...is hosted by Artful Affirmations.

We've had a few snow flurries today so I really need to warm up. And while I'm enjoying my cup I'll share a teaser with you from my latest book.

My Father sometimes made me kneel while he put his hand on my head when he rattled off a blessing, but his was a heavy hand, not the gentle touch I desired. We were a family living without a heart, a mother, to unite us.

Happening by here again Irene. Interested to see your tea cosy. There is a funny lady who has an interesting website. She knits CRAZY tea cosies (she is an Australian of course).

She has published a couple of books, Wild Tea cosies, and Really Wild Teacosies of her creations. I have a friend who knitted her way through the books, selling them for a charity. Very funny and very weird! Her blog is quite interesting.

Cute tea cozy Irene! Hope it does keep your tea warm for a few hours!

Your teaser is sad!

Now that is just too cute, dear Irene. I have a soft spot for hot pink ... and for teapots, and tea cozies, and Earl Grey. I need me a cozy for my French Press coffee pot. I'm always having to double up a towel and wrap around it lest my cuppa joe cool before the first slurp. Happy Wednesday!

It's quite cute, and if it's made from wool it should work, right?

Well, this quote is frightening. And I've seen many horror movies. Not always good ones, but my point is, I'm steeled for ickyness.

The cozy, though. Seriously! It's PINK! Did it work? Is your tea warm? I can't imagine anything staying warm for long in snow flurries, but what do I know?

I don't know if it will keep the pot hot, but it sure is the cutest thing!
