Mellow Yellow Monday...

Please join us at Mellow Yellow Monday... because life is better with a splash of yellow in it.
I've never been to Ireland, but from the description in this book, I really want to visit.  I love the cover design and can only imagine it looks better when you are there.  The cover designers is Julia Kushnirsky, the illustrator is Vince McIndoc.  The book is excellent, I enjoyed finishing it yesterday and didn't do laundry. I've been reading along with a group at Books and Movies, couldn't wait any longer to finish, so I did.  You can still catch up and join in, we are officially only 1/2 way there.
I've posted about this book so much you'll think I'm getting some $action, not so.  Just a good book and a great cover, it's mellow yellow, the storyline is not though.  Have a great day, I'll be enjoying some of my yellow crocus' blooming madly in my lawn.

I've only been to Northern Ireland, but it is much lovelier than that cover. The book sounds marvelous.

Hello Irene,

it sounds interesting Irene.
I am lucky to have been there twice for very short times to visit my niece when she was there...wonderful.

Loved the poem about your Mum below.

Thanks for visiting my old Queenslander...glad you enjoyed it...it does appear much the same as when we had left it...a different color, much more foliage.

I love to read and am constantly with my nose in a book when I'm not writing or working. I will have to look into this one.
