Saturday Snapshot...Cup of Tea

I'm starting to really enjoy my tea in a china teacup these days.  It all started with having a cup of tea at my mom's, there was only two mugs, and a whole lot of tea cups.  Now I can't go back.  Heck I have to justify my acquisitions some how! This particular beauty was a Christmas gift from a friend.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce from At Home With Books.

Oh, that is pretty! Beautiful cups make tea time special! Now you can be on the hunt for them at garage sales and thrift stores!

Tea just tastes better in a beautiful fine china cup!

Tea actually tastes better in a proper cup. ;) This one is lovely. I have a whole collection of cups I inherited from my mother. I think it's time to dig those out.

Such a pretty tea cup! Tea brewed in a pot and served in a fancy china cup is much nicer than using a mug.

I love pretty teacups...I have a lovely set that I don't use very often. I should use it even if nobody else is home but me!

Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

I think the tea tastes better too! I love finding tea cups at antique shops.

It's always nice to have drinks in something pretty! I have about twenty coffee mugs but only use the same three over and over because they are the ones I like to look at the most. I should probably just get rid of the other ones. :)

Such a pretty cup -- I can see why you'd want to use it. I'd probably be too afraid of breaking it, though.

Thanks for visiting Joysweb, and have a wonderful week!

Both my husband and my neighbor recently got into tea drinking. It is replacing coffee around here!

That is so pretty. There's just something elegant about drinking tea from a lovely tea cup instead of a mug.

Girl I am a sucker for teacups. AND teapots, truth be known. I hope someday we can share a cuppa together, dear Irene. With plenty of shortbread.

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday to my wonderful son,  it's bee 33wonderful years. Hope this year proves to be the best yet.
